Where Tom Brady Put Patriots On His NFL Power Rankings After 'Convincing Win' vs. Bucs
The New England Patriots defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 28-23 in the showdown of Tom Brady's former teams Sunday, and now they are near the top of the legend's power rankings.
Brady released his latest top 10 Tuesday, and the Patriots checked in at No. 3 behind only the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams:
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Los Angeles Rams
- New England Patriots
- Seattle Seahawks
- Denver Broncos
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Los Angeles Chargers
- Kansas City Chiefs
- Detroit Lions
- Indianapolis Colts

Maye Supports Vrabel
"What more is there to say? The knock on this team had been their schedule, but they went into a hostile environment and beat a great team that was playing well heading into the game," Brady said.
New England has now won seven in a row and sits atop the AFC East at 8-2. It hasn't won a playoff game since Brady was under center, but that could change with Drake Maye leading the way.
The second-year quarterback is in the middle of the MVP conversation and is completing 71.7 percent of his passes for 2,555 yards, 19 touchdowns and five interceptions.
But it was rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson who stood out the most during Sunday's win over Tampa Bay with 147 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. It was the Ohio State product's breakout performance after he was largely a secondary contributor through the first 10 contests.
If it was a sign of things to come from Henderson and Maye continues to perform at an MVP level, the Patriots may find themselves on top of the franchise legend's power rankings by season's end.
