DeVonta Smith Dismisses Eagles' 'Haters' in Video Amid Offensive Struggles, 7-2 Record
Following the Philadelphia Eagles' 10-7 road win over the Green Bay Packers on Monday night, wide receiver DeVonta Smith made it clear that the Eagles aren't concerned with what their detractors are saying about them.
During an appearance on SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt after the game, Smith gave his take on the Eagles' haters:

"It only matters what we do inside the building," Smith said. "It's only about those guys that's in there, the coaches. When you're having success you're gonna have people that's gonna talk about you, talk down, they're gonna hate on you. If you ain't got no haters, you ain't doing something right."
The Eagles are the reigning Super Bowl champions and they are off to a 7-2 start this season after Monday's win, firmly establishing themselves as title contenders once again.
The offense has seemingly been the target of much of the criticism the Eagles have faced throughout the season, ranging from an inconsistent passing attack to running back Saquon Barkley's dip in production to the idea that Philly often gets away with false starts or illegal formations on the signature Tush Push play.
Very little was working for the offense for the majority of Monday's game, but that changed on one drive in the fourth quarter when the Eagles extended their lead from three to 10.
One play after a dump-off from quarterback Jalen Hurts to Barkley netted the Eagles 41 yards, Hurts finally got the look he had been searching for.
Smith got himself into a one-on-one situation with a safety, prompting Hurts to take a shot down the field. Smith went up and attacked the ball, hauling it in for a 36-yard touchdown.
A Packers touchdown shrunk the deficit back down to three, but the Philadelphia defense came through in the clutch, forcing a turnover on downs with less than two minutes remaining.
When a 64-yard field goal attempt by Brandon McManus missed the mark as time expired, it meant the Eagles had secured arguably their toughest and biggest victory of the season.
The Eagles aren't without their faults, but there is no denying that they will be a tough out come playoff time.
On the strength of their running game, pass-rush and strong secondary, the Eagles won it all last year, and they are among the top contenders to win the Super Bowl once again this season.
Questions about the Hurts-led passing game may persist, but with Smith, wideout A.J. Brown and tight end Dallas Goedert as his top targets, there is undoubtedly enough talent for the Eagles to be able to win big games through the air if they need to.
