Packers' Jordan Love Says Offense Is 'Letting the Defense Down' After Loss to Eagles
Jordan Love knows the offense isn't holding up its end of the bargain following back-to-back losses in which the Green Bay Packers scored a total of 20 points.
Speaking to reporters after Monday's 10-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Love said the Packers offense is "letting the defense down" right now:
"I know as a defense, they definitely have every reason to look at us and say, 'What are you guys doing? You guys need to figure it out and help us out and put up some more points,' because they're doing a great job. It's frustrating, but we'll stay together. We'll keep the energy high and find ways to get better and be better as an offense."

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In a high-profile matchup on Monday Night Football between two of the top teams in the NFC, neither side put their best foot forward. They combined for 555 yards, 11 penalties and three turnovers.
Philadelphia held on to win when Packers kicker Brandon McManus shanked a potential game-tying 64-yard field goal as time expired.
The Packers have been a frustrating team to figure out so far this season. They have had stretches in which they looked like the best team in the NFC, but they are now 5-3-1 and clinging to the final wild card spot going into Week 11.
Prior to Monday night, the Packers' three non wins were against the Cleveland Browns (loss), Dallas Cowboys (tie) and Carolina Panthers (loss). Those three teams have a combined 10-17-1 record.
In their three losses, the Packers have averaged 10.0 points and 286.7 yards per game. The defense has allowed a total of 39 points in those games. That unit has more than held up its end of the bargain this season.
Green Bay ranks fifth in the NFL in yards allowed per game and seventh in points allowed per game. Only three teams have scored 20 points or more against this defense.
Love is having the best season of his career since becoming a full-time starter in 2023, but the highs and lows from week to week make it hard to know what version of the offense is going to show up.
Monday night, for instance, saw Love go 20-of-36 for 176 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. It was his fourth time in nine games with fewer than 200 passing yards and second consecutive game without a touchdown pass.
The good news for the Packers is they are still tied with the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions in the loss column for seeding in the NFC North. They still have three games remaining against their division rivals in the regular season, starting with a Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Lions in Detroit.
