An apparent injury ankle isn't slowing Justin Herbert down.

Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh gave an update on the quarterback on Monday after he tweaked his ankle in a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

"I do have an update on his physical status: He is still a beast," Harbaugh told reporters.

While Harbaugh didn't offer much of an actual update, Herbert, who was sacked five times and took nine hits, confirmed that it wasn't anything serious.

"I just got rolled up. A little bit of pain but I thought we did a good job of talking about it on the sideline," Herbert said. "I came off and felt like I was safe and comfortable to go back out there."

Herbert didn't exit the game because of the injury and finished with 220 passing yards and a touchdown.

Herbert is having a tremendous season this year, posting 2,610 yards and 19 touchdowns along with 324 rushing yards and a score on the ground. Behind his fantastic play, the Chargers have started the year 7-3 and are in second place in the AFC West.
