Drake Maye Gets NFL MVP Hype from Fans After Patriots Beat Baker Mayfield, Bucs

The Drake Maye MVP hype train got a little louder on Sunday.

Maye led the New England Patriots to a 28-23 win over Baker Mayfield and the injury-riddled Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Maye threw for 270 yards and a pair of touchdowns in New England's eighth win of the regular season.

Maye received some help on the ground as well, as TreVeyon Henderson ran for a pair of touchdowns.

The Patriots also extended their advantage in the AFC East over the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo fell to the Miami Dolphins to drop two games behind the Pats.

Maye and the Patriots are now expected to reach 11-2 before their Week 14 bye with the New York Jets, Cincinnati Bengals and New York Giants ahead on the schedule in the next three weeks.
