It hasn't been an ideal pre-season for De Gea. Reports continue to link the 24-year-old with a move away from Old Trafford, with Real Madrid apparently very keen on the Spanish international, per Ben Grounds of the MailOnline.

These latest fitness issues, although the extent of them have been kept under wraps, will only add to De Gea’s frustrations, and you can bet he’ll be keen to get back out on the field as soon as possible for United. Whether his long-term future will be at Old Trafford is another matter entirely, though.
