Perhaps no other player was more connected to Brady during his career than Gronkowski, as they won three Super Bowls together with the New England Patriots and another with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
One Gronkowski was nearly impossible to stop, so opposing defenses are lucky Brady only cloned his dog and not the future Hall of Famer.
Per Bailey Richards of People, Brady revealed Colossal Biosciences used blood collected from his previous dog Lua prior to her death in a cloning effort to create his current dog, Junie.
Brady is an investor in Colossal Biosciences, which is a biotech company.
"I love my animals," he said. "They mean the world to me and my family. A few years ago, I worked with Colossal and leveraged their non-invasive cloning technology through a simple blood draw of our family's elderly dog before she passed."
Brady, his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen and their children shared Lua prior to the dog's death in December 2023.
