A.J. Brown, Bucky Irving, NFL Injury Statuses and Fantasy Impact for Week 10

Joe TanseyNov 7, 2025

The Philadelphia Eagles offense will receive a massive boost for Monday night's clash with the Green Bay Packers.

Wide receiver A.J. Brown, who missed Week 8 with a hamstring injury, will return for the top team in the NFC.

The news isn't as great for one of the other top teams in the NFC, as Bucky Irving was ruled out of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' showdown with the New England Patriots.

A.J. Brown Will Play Monday Night

A.J. Brown confirmed on Thursday that he would return on Monday night.

"I'm playing," Brown said, per Eagles.com's Chris McPherson.

Brown missed the Eagles' Week 8 win over the New York Giants due to a hamstring issue. The Eagles were off in Week 9, so Brown had extra time to rest without missing more playing time.

Brown and the Eagles face a tough matchup against a Packers defense that allowed over 300 total yards just twice in eight games. Despite losing last week, Green Bay only let up 102 passing yards to the Carolina Panthers.

Philadelphia's aerial attack is far more formidable than Carolina's passing unit, and with a healthy Brown in the lineup, Jalen Hurts' fantasy football stock will go up.

Before the injury absence, Brown had 201 receiving yards in his last two games. He had 121 yards and two scores in his last outing against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7.

The only negative fantasy impact of Brown's return will be with DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert, who might see their targets drop a bit. They remain the No. 2 and No. 3 options in the passing game behind Brown.

Bucky Irving Ruled Out

Bucky Irving will not be on the field for Tampa Bay's interconference matchup with New England.

Irving has not played for the Buccaneers since September 28. Tampa Bay's offense had three sub-100-yard rushing games in his absence.

The poor trend from October might send you toward Rachaad White or Sean Tucker off the waiver wire. Tucker was a limited participant in Friday practice and White recorded over 50 rushing yards once in the last four weeks despite earning double-digit carries in every contest.

The better option is to explore the waiver wire.

Chicago's Kyle Monangai faces the New York Giants' second-worst rushing defense. D'Andre Swift is listed as questionable and could play, but Monangai's success against the Cincinnati Bengals last week makes him a target, if he's still available in your fantasy leagues.

The Giants' Devin Singletary and Arizona's Emari Demercado are worth waiver-wire looks because of high usage rates.

The Buffalo Bills backup duo of Ty Johnson and Ray Davis may be worth fliers as well. James Cook is dealing with an ankle injury, a blowout against the Dolphins is expected and Miami gives up the third-most rushing yards to opposing running backs.
