Bo Nix, J.K. Dobbins Call Out Broncos' Offense Despite TNF Win over Raiders
Despite a victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night that improved their record to 8-2, members of the Denver Broncos offense weren't in a celebratory mood after being held to just 10 points.
Speaking to reporters following the win, Bo Nix shouldered the blame for the offensive struggles.
"At some point, we've got to start moving the ball and scoring some points," said Nix. "Between penalties and sluggish football, we're just not playing very good. It starts with me. I've got to be better. ... We've got to find some juice."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Running back J.K. Dobbins went even further, saying he feels "bad" for how much of the load the defense is carrying for them:
Since putting up 44 points and 426 yards in a Week 8 win over the Dallas Cowboys, the Broncos have a total of 28 points and 491 yards in their last two games. They have won both of those games, so it's been easy to dismiss how poor they've played on that side of the ball if you want to do so.
Nix, in particular, has had a rough second season after a promising rookie campaign. He went 16-of-28 for 150 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions against the Raiders.
The last three games have seen Nix complete just 56.4 percent of his attempts for 574 yards with seven touchdowns and four interceptions. His 43.1 percent success rate for the season ranks 24th out of 31 qualified quarterbacks.
Even more alarming for the Broncos is that Nix has arguably the best situation of any quarterback in the NFL right now. Sean Payton is regarded as one of the best offensive play-callers in the league. Dobbins, Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin and Evan Engram are a very strong group of skill position players around the quarterback.
Denver has had arguably the best offensive line in the NFL since the start of the 2024 season. This year's unit ranks second in ESPN's pass-block win rate metric, which bears out in the traditional stats since Nix has only been sacked on 2.8 percent of his dropbacks.
Despite all of these advantages, Nix ranks behind Spencer Rattler in success rate and Michael Penix Jr. in QBR.
The Broncos still have time to figure out a formula on offense with seven games remaining in the regular season, but their margin of error to win the AFC West is small with the Los Angeles Chargers (6-3) and Kansas City Chiefs (5-4) within two games of them in the loss column.
Denver still has three head-to-head matchups remaining with those two teams, with the first one coming next week against the Chiefs at Empower Field.
