Pete Carroll Ripped by NFL Fans as Raiders Fall to 2-7 with Loss to Bo Nix, Broncos

Bo Nix threw for one touchdown and 150 yards as the Denver Broncos edged Ashton Jeanty and the Las Vegas Raiders 10–7 on Thursday at home.

With the win, the Broncos improved to 8–2 on the season and extended their winning streak to seven games, maintaining their spot atop the AFC West standings. Meanwhile, the Raiders fell to 2–7 as their offensive struggles continued.

Nix completed 16-of-28 passes despite throwing two interceptions, connecting with Troy Franklin for a 40-yard touchdown. J.K. Dobbins added 77 rushing yards on 18 carries to help pace Denver's offense.

Raiders quarterback Geno Smith managed 143 passing yards and one interception, while Jeanty provided the team's lone score with 60 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Criticism mounted for Pete Carroll as the Raiders' woes persisted, with another slow start leading to their seventh loss of the season.

Both teams entered halftime tied at seven apiece after a shaky first half from both sides. The Raiders scored in the first quarter, while the Broncos responded in the second, but the quarter ended with an interception.

The Broncos added a field goal at the end of the third that would seal the win over the Raiders. 

Denver will look to keep its win streak alive against the Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday at home, while the Raiders will host the Dallas Cowboys next Monday.
