NFL Fans Mock Raiders vs. Broncos During Ugly Thursday Night Football Game

Andrew PetersNov 6, 2025

On certain nights, teams put on tremendous offensive displays that remind fans of the beauty of football.

Thursday's matchup between the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders was not one of those nights. The Broncos won the low-scoring affair, 10-7.

Both teams struggled to get much of anything going on offense. The Broncos started the game with four straight three-and-outs, which pretty much set the tone for the rest of the night.

Denver finished with 220 yards of total offense while Las Vegas had 188.

The leading receiver for both teams tells the story:

With the points few and far between but the punts and penalties abundant, fans took to social media to express their feelings about the game. Some fans lamented a boring matchup, while others said that it's the way Thursday Night Football is supposed to be.

All things considered, the lack of offense isn't much of a surprise. Neither team has a particularly spectacular offense, and Denver has one of the best defenses in the league.

Plus, both teams played on Sunday, giving them a short week to recover and prepare for the matchup on Thursday.

The majority of fans weren't too happy about Thursday's game, but it likely satisfied those who like old-school defensive matchups.
