Clayton Kershaw Says It 'Feels Good' Knowing Shohei Ohtani Never Got a Hit Off Him
Clayton Kershaw ended his career with back-to-back titles, a pretty epic way to ride off into the sunset. But there's a particular stat from his career that he might be even more proud of achieving.
"Check the numbers, I never gave up a hit to Shohei [Ohtani]," he said Thursday during an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show. "And I will have that for the rest of my life. ... I haven't told him yet, I don't know how he would take it."

Indeed, Ohtani went 0-for-11 with four strikeouts against Kershaw when he was a member of the Los Angeles Angels.
"Feels good," a laughing Kershaw said. "Feels good. Feels great. I'll take that, all day."
It's hard to imagine the 37-year-old Kershaw would rub it in too much, given the massive role Ohtani played in securing two of his three career titles. But it's a pretty wild stat nonetheless amidst a long list of achievements for the future Hall of Famer.
