Week 10 Waiver Wire Top Fantasy Pickups After Latest NFL Injuries
With Thursday night's clash between the Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos, we officially entered the second half of the 2025 NFL season. For fantasy managers, this means that the postseason push is nearly here.
This is a pivotal week for any managers on the playoff fringes, and, unfortunately, it won't be the easiest to navigate. The Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans are all on bye. This year's injury bug isn't going away either.
Fortunately, some potential sleepers may still be available, even after waiver claims have been process.
Here, you'll find a look at the top remaining plays of Week 10, the latest from the Week 10 injury report, and the top waiver-wire targets at each position.
All rankings and analysis are based on point-per-reception (PPR) scoring.
Quarterback

Top 10
1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
2. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
3. Drake Maye, New England Patriots
4. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers
5. Jaxson Dart, New York Giants
6. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
7. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears
8. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
9. Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks
10. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Injury Report and Waiver Wire Targets
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels has been ruled out, while San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy is questionable—though San Francisco's plan is to start Mac Jones again.
Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has also been ruled out with a concussion, which leaves Davis Mills as a viable Week 10 deep sleeper. He'll face a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that has surrendered the third-most fantasy points to opposing QBs. He's also available in 98 percent of ESPN and Yahoo leagues.
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is probably a more enticing waiver target, even if his matchup isn't as ideal as Mills'. The Falcons will face the Indianapolis Colts in Germany on Sunday morning, which could mean a sloppy game is on tap.
Penix has a terrific skill group, though, and the Colts are a middle-of-the-pack team against QBs in fantasy (18th-most points allowed). He's available in over 75 percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues. Other QBs to consider include Aaron Rodgers and Tua Tagovailoa.
Running Back

Top 10
1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers
2. Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions
3. Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
4. Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons
5. De'Von Achane, Miami Dolphins
6. James Cook, Buffalo Bills
7. Rico Dowdle, Carolina Panthers
8. Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers
9. Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams
10. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles
Injury Report and Waiver Wire Targets
Bucky Irving won't make his return for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week, meaning Rachaad White will lead Tampa's backfield once again. Rhamondre Stevenson is also out.
Alvin Kamara, Aaron Jones, Ollie Gordon II and D'Andre Swift are among those listed as questionable.
If we're being perfectly honest—and we are—this week's running back options on the wire stink. The wire's RB pool has been shallow all season, but we've seen the occasional back emerge as a starter due to injuries. That's probably not going to happen this week.
The closest thing to that we're likely to see may come from the New York Giants. Devin Singletary logged more carries than Tyrone Tracy Jr. last week, so there's a slim chance he'll take over New York's backfield in the wake of Cam Skattebo's injury.
A two-back system is more likely for the Giants, but Singletary's matchup against the Chicago Bears is at least reasonable. Chicago has allowed the 14th-most fantasy points from opposing RBs. Singletary is rostered in just 23 percent of Yahoo leagues and 34 percent of ESPN leagues.
Cleveland Browns back Dylan Sampson might have some PPR value after catching five passes in his last outing, but he's a total gamble, even against a struggling New York Jets defense. He is available in over 80 percent of ESPN and Yahoo leagues.
Tank Bigsby and Kenneth Gainwell loom as options in deeper leagues.
Wide Receiver

Top 10
1. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks
2. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
3. Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
4. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
5. Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams
6. Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
7. Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
8. Nico Collins, Houston Texans
9. Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers
10. Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears
Injury Report and Waiver Wire Targets
The Commanders have ruled out Terry McLaurin, while the Jaguars have ruled out Brian Thomas Jr. The New England Patriots and Buccaneers have ruled out Kayshon Boutte and Chris Godwin, respectively.
Ricky Pearsall, D'Wayne Eskridge and Isaiah Bond are also out, while Tory Horton is doubtful.
The list of questionable wide receivers includes Garrett Wilson, Cooper Kupp, Josh Palmer, Tetairoa McMillan and Cedric Tillman Jr.
Managers are more likely to find startable options at receiver than at running back. Colts receiver Alec Pierce, for example, has recorded at least five receptions and 98 yards in two of his last three outings. Yet, he's still available in roughly 60 percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.
Tez Johnson has become a strong contributor in Tampa's offense because of its receiver injuries. He recorded nine receptions over his past two games and has found the end zone in two of his last three. He's only rostered in 31 percent of Yahoo leagues and 26 percent of ESPN leagues.
Christian Watson is also worth a flier, especially after the Green Bay Packers lost go-to tight end Tucker Kraft to a season-ending injury. Watson has been targeted four times in each of his two games since returning from last year's ACL tear. He's available in roughly 70 percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.
Darius Slayton, Parker Washington, Rashod Bateman and Jamari Thrash are other receivers who can be considered in deeper leagues.
Tight End

Top 10
1. Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals
2. Oronde Gadsden II, Los Angeles Chargers
3. Tyler Warren, Indianapolis Colts
4. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions
5. George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers
6. Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills
7. Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles
8. Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons
9. Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears
10. Theo Johnson, New York Giants
Injury Report and Waiver Wire Targets
Harold Fannin Jr. and AJ Barner are both questionable, but Kraft's injury is the most notable at tight end. The Packers star was averaging 14.7 fantasy points per week before suffering a torn ACL last week.
Because of Kraft's injury, Green Bay tight end Luke Musgrave might be a serviceable replacement. He's never been a huge part of the Packers' passing attack, but he is available in over 80 percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.
Managers are more likely to find serviceable tight ends than legitimate stars on the waiver wire, though it's worth seeing if Colston Loveland is available. The Chicago Bears rookie went off against the Bengals last week, finishing with six catches, 118 yards and two touchdowns.
Loveland is still available in over half of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.
Dalton Schultz, Theo Johnson, Mason Taylor and Cade Otton are other tight ends to consider this week.
