After staying put past Tuesday's trade deadline, Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku emphatically declared that he doesn't plan on wearing a new jersey anytime soon.

Njoku was rumored to be a trade candidate leading up to the deadline, but he was relieved when he learned that he wasn't going anywhere.
"I found out the same way you found out, at 4 p.m. yesterday," he said. "I'm here and I ain't f--king leaving."
Njoku, who has spent his entire career in Cleveland since being drafted with the 29th overall pick in 2017, is in the final year of his contract. When asked if he wants to work something out with the Browns to stick around beyond this season, he said, "I hope so, yeah."
However, when he was asked if he knew if contract extension discussions had started yet, he responded with a smile and said, "I can't say."
In seven games this season, Njoku ranks second on the team with 27 catches and 260 receiving yards, and he's tied for the team lead with two receiving touchdowns. The Browns have a 2-6 record and appear set to miss the playoffs for the second straight season.
Still, Njoku made it clear that he's elated to be staying in Cleveland. He even showed off his iced out chain with a pendant that features the state of Ohio intertwined with his home country of Nigeria.
"I'm so happy, man, I don't know how else to put it, I'm so happy," he said. "For real, I'm serious."
