MLB Qualifying Contract Offers Tracker and Updates Ahead of 2025 MLB Free Agency
As the confetti still falls on the Los Angeles Dodgers' thrilling victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2025 World Series, the MLB offseason officially begins on Nov. 6 with the start of free agency.
One of the key aspects of the free-agent period is the qualifying offer system that allows teams to extend a one-year tender to a pending free agent.
Nov. 6 at 5 p.m. ET was the deadline for teams to extend the qualifying offer. Players who receive the offer had until Nov. 18 to decide if they will accept or reject it.
Rejecting the offer means the team will receive draft pick compensation if the player signs with another club. A player who accepts will receive a $22.025 million salary for the 2026 season.
