Andrew PetersNov 4, 2025

Another outstanding performance from Olympian Jordan Chiles was enough for her to move on to Week 9 of Dancing With the Stars.

Week 8 was Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night, and Chiles and her partner, Ezra Sosa, performed a jazz routine to Tina Turner's "River Deep - Mountain High."

Chiles and Sosa earned 38 of 40 possible points from the judges. This week's guest judge, rapper Flavor Flav, awarded Chiles one of the two 10s she received. Chiles and Sosa tied for third, enough to move but not enough to earn them immunity next week since they didn't have the top score.

All the contestants split into two groups to end the night, and Chiles' group earned a perfect 40 while dancing to Chicago's "25 or 6 to 4." The extra dance helped bump her into second place, and the fan vote secured her spot in the next week.

Fans were once again blown away by Chiles' performance.

Tuesday marked Chiles' second-highest score of the season. Two weeks ago, she earned a 39 out of 40 after dancing the Rumba to "For Good" by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande on Wicked Night.

Last week, Chiles earned a 34 out of 40 on Halloween Night with her contemporary dance to Sia's "Elastic Heart." She also gained four extra points dance marathon event at the end of the night.

There are only three weeks left until the end of the season, and Chiles will look to stay alive next week during an episode celebrating the show's 20th birthday.
