Chase Brown's Comments on Bengals' Defense is 'Not How We Want to React,' HC Says
After a late collapse from the Cincinnati Bengals' defense in a loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Chase Brown voiced his frustration to the media.
After Brown's comments, head coach Zach Taylor said it wasn't an appropriate response.
"That's not how we want to react," Taylor said, per ESPN's Ben Baby. "And one of our best players, one of our most high-character players, I think in a moment of frustration, said that. I don't expect that to happen again."

The Bengals scored in the final minute to go up 42-41, but the defense gave up a touchdown pass from Caleb Williams to tight end Colston Loveland with just 17 seconds left.
Brown lamented the defense's inability to finish the game.
"Now that [the offense] is stepping up, we just gotta play complementary football," Brown told reporters. "We put the ball in the endzone and go up a point at the end. Finish the f--king game. Like, just end it. That's it, that's what we need to do, just end the f--king game. Make 'em give us the ball back, let us f--king go to '22 Victory,' and let's end the game. That's how I feel."
As Brown voiced his frustrations with the defense, several members of the defense declined to speak to the media.
With the loss, Cincinnati dropped to 3-6 on the year. The Bengals' chances of reaching the postseason are already slim, but a divided locker room would make things even worse.
