Week 10 Waiver Wire Breakout Fantasy Football Pickups from Sunday's Box Scores
As injuries and evolving playbooks present more opportunities, breakout stars emerge, seizing the playing time and making the most of it. That includes in fantasy, where players sometimes come from out of nowhere to become contributors, hot commodities that managers battle for the chance to add to their teams.
Such is the case emerging from Week 9 and looking forward.
From a rookie running back to a wide receiver who has quietly been a solid option for his veteran quarterback in Las Vegas, these are the players to consider for your fantasy roster next week.
All fantasy stats from FanasyPros unless otherwise noted.
Tre Tucker, WR, Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders' offense has been in shambles all season, with sub-par play from quarterback Geno Smith, the team's inability to get rookie running back Ashton Jeanty going, and a lack of playmakers on the perimeter.
Tre Tucker has been the exception, becoming a breakout player for the team and for fantasy managers alike.
Tucker has 29 receptions on 39 targets, 389 yards, and four touchdowns.
He has netted double-digit points performances in PPR leagues in four of the team's seven games, too.
With Jakobi Meyers potentially being traded before Tuesday's deadline, and Patrick Surtain II's status for the Week 10 match-up against Denver up in the air, Tucker could be a primary target for Smith.
While his full value is likely dependent upon the status of Meyers and how well Brock Bowers plays upon his return from injury, Tucker has seen 17 targets in the three weeks entering his game against Jacksonville Sunday and the chemistry he has built with Smith should ensure he stays fed.
Mason Taylor, TE, New York Jets

The New York Jets had off in Week 9, but in their first win of the season against Cincinnati a week earlier, rookie tight end Mason Taylor had one of his best games to date.
The LSU product caught five balls for 34 yards and his first touchdown.
While his numbers will not stun anyone, his fantasy points should be enough to capture the attention of managers looking for an upgrade at the tight end position.
Taylor has accumulated three double-digit fantasy performances in PPR leagues and, while the Browns possess the 13th-best defense against opposing tight ends, he has become somewhat of a safety blanket for Jets quarterbacks and an end zone mismatch.
Do not be surprised if Taylor's name is mentioned among top breakout tight ends entering next season, based on how he has performed when called upon this year.
Kyle Monangai, RB, Chicago Bears

With De'Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson out of action in Week 9, Kyle Monangai introduced himself to the NFL and fantasy football managers with an explosive performance against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The seventh-round pick out of Rutgers in this past May's NFL Draft, Monangai shredded the Bengals' defense with 26 carries and 176 yards. He added three receptions for 22 yards.
It was a breakout performance that fantasy managers paying close attention saw coming for a few weeks.
Against Baltimore, he had just 24 yards on seven carries, but the week before against New Orleans, he rushed 13 times for 81 yards and his first career touchdown.
Even with Swift and Johnson due back, Monangai has provided the Bears' offense with a pair of fresh legs and an explosion that it has needed in its pursuit of a playoff return.
A Week 10 match-up against the Giants, who give up the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing running backs should be all the confidence managers need to grab him and stash the rookie runner, if nothing else.
