Jeff Hardy Says 'Mind Was Blown' By Jahmyr Gibbs' Halloween Costume Honoring WWE Icon

Jahmyr Gibbs has a new famous fan.

"My mind was blown," WWE legend Jeff Hardy told TMZ Sports when discussing the Detroit Lions running back's decision to dress up like him for Halloween. "Lamar Jackson used to be my favorite NFL football player, so now I've got a new one."

Gibbs donned Hardy's signature face paint and black tank top:

The running back also told teammate Amon-Ra St. Brown during an appearance on the St. Brown Podcast that he hoped to use the wrestler's dance as a touchdown celebration in the future (1:07:34 mark).

Hearing Hardy express his admiration will likely only make the Lions star want to celebrate in such a fashion even more.

And he will have plenty of chances if he continues to play at the level he has to start his career. Gibbs was a Pro Bowler in each of his first two seasons, including last year when he  led the league with 16 rushing touchdowns.

He has 526 rushing yards, 194 receiving yards and seven total touchdowns this season for the 5-2 Lions.

Next up for Detroit is a home game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, and Hardy might get to see his new favorite player pay homage yet again with a touchdown.
