Prince Fielder stepped to the plate with one out in the top of the fifth of Monday's game against Colorado. Rockies first baseman Ben Paulsen thought there were two.

With a pair of men on, the Texas Rangers star smacked a grounder to first and Paulsen snagged it, recorded the out and trotted over to the dugout.

Oh, wait!

It was too late. Two runs had already scored by the time Paulsen realized his mental lapse.

Props to Rougned Odor for some heads-up baserunning.
