Mark Zuckerberg Spars with UFC Star Alex Pereira on Video After Knee Injury
Mark Zuckerberg is most commonly known for building the biggest social media platform in the world, but the Facebook co-founder can also get down in the ring.
Zuckerberg recently sparred with UFC star Alex Pereira, and he appeared to be holding his own against the UFC light heavyweight champion.
Zuckerberg is not new to fighting. He's been training in both MMA and Brazilian jiu-jitsu for several years now, and he clearly takes his training seriously. Over the summer, he even got an invitation from UFC CEO Dana White to fight in a new Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu organization.
"If Mark keeps training and competing and whatever, he could literally come here and fight in UFC BJJ, 100 percent," White said. "Tom Hardy, Mario Lopez, and many, many other actors that are really good jiu-jitsu guys that nobody knows about. That would be absolutely awesome."
Just like any athlete, Zuckerberg hasn't been safe from injuries. In 2023, he suffered a torn ACL while training for a fight, but based on the recent video, he seems to be healthy.
