Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs Honors WWE's Jeff Hardy with Halloween Costume in Photo
Detroit Lions star running back Jahmyr Gibbs paid homage to a WWE legend with his Halloween costume.
Gibbs dressed up as Jeff Hardy for the Lions' recent Halloween party, wearing a black tank top and arm sleeves to go along with face paint to match the high-flying wrestler.
Gibbs is an avid wrestling fan, as he was in attendance for WrestleMania 41 in April.
He also revealed his plan to dress up as Hardy for Halloween during a Sept. 17 appearance on the St. Brown Podcast with Lions teammate Amon-Ra St. Brown, expressing his desire to use the wrestler's signature dance as a future touchdown celebration (1:07:34 mark).
While Gibbs is only in his third season with Detroit, he's already established himself as one of the league's top players at his position.
In 2024, he amassed 1,929 all-purpose yards and 20 total touchdowns in 17 games. Gibbs earned his second Pro Bowl nod for his efforts, finishing No. 8 in Offensive Player of the Year voting.
This season, he's racked up 526 yards and six touchdowns on the ground in seven games while averaging 5.1 yards per carry. Gibbs has also remained impactful in Detroit's passing attack, hauling in 26 receptions for 194 yards and one score.
