Kai Trump, the 18-year-old eldest granddaughter of U.S. president Donald Trump, will make her LPGA debut this November.

Trump accepted a sponsor invite to join the field at the 2025 edition of The Annika at Pelican Golf Club the LPGA announced Tuesday.

The tournament is set to run from Nov. 13-16 in Belleair, Florida.

Sponsor invites allow tournament organizers to bring in players who would not have otherwise qualified to make the LPGA field.

LPGA chief tour business and operations officer Ricki Lasky said in a statement that these invitations "are an important way to spotlight emerging talent and bring new attention to our tournaments and the LPGA."

Both Lasky and the LPGA highlighted Trump's combined social media reach of more than 6 million followers when announcing her invitation.

Anne-Sterre den Dunnen, who is a senior at Wake Forest, and Northwestern senior Lauryn Nguyen have also been offered sponsor invites to the tournament.

Trump is a high school senior at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Florida, where Tiger Woods' son, Charlie, also attends school.

She announced in August 2024 that she had committed to play golf at the University of Miami as a member of the Class of 2026.

Trump struggled when playing at the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley in South Carolina this March, finishing last in the 24-player field after shooting 35-over.

She recently claimed the best finish of her junior career, however, by shooting 11-over while tying for third in a South Florida PGA event at Lost City Golf Club in Atlantis, Florida this July.

The Annika will feature 108 players competing for a $3.25 million purse. Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is set to compete in a Pro-Am ahead of the event on Nov. 12.
