Taylor Swift Fans Convinced Chiefs' Travis Kelce Did 'Fate of Ophelia' Dance after TD
Travis Kelce's touchdown celebration in the Kansas City Chiefs' 28-7 win over the Washington Commanders on Monday night may have included a shoutout to Taylor Swift.
After his third quarter touchdown catch, Kelce appeared to mimic the dance from Swift's music video for "The Fate of Ophelia" by putting his right hand on his heart, raising his left hand and then looking at his hands, bobbing his head back and forth while looking up to the luxury suite at Arrowhead Stadium where his fiancee was watching the game from.

The moves led to fans speculating that Kelce was paying homage to Swift.
Swift sings during the post-chorus, "Pledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibes." She hasn't explicitly said the song is about Kelce, but did refer to it as a love song with multiple easter eggs about the Chiefs tight end included in the video.
It wasn't a perfect recreation of the dance, so it's possible Kelce was doing something else that may have just been a signal to Swift. Dancing is hard, after all, especially when you are wearing NFL-mandated pads and a helmet.
Amid the speculation about the dance, Kelce's touchdown catch was a historic one. It was his 83rd career score, tying Priest Holmes for the most in Chiefs history.
Kelce is also up to 100 touchdowns between the regular season and playoffs. Antonio Gates, Tony Gonzalez and Rob Gronkowski are the only other tight ends in NFL history with at least 100 career touchdown catches.
