Jakobi Meyers Trade Reportedly Interests Multiple Teams, Raiders Eye Day 2 Draft Pick

Doric SamOct 27, 2025

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is reportedly a name to watch ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, "multiple teams" have expressed interest in trading for Meyers, though they "have had a hard time getting a clear read on whether Las Vegas is truly willing to move him." Schultz added that the "belief is it would take at least a Day 2 pick for the Raiders to even consider it."

Meyers, who is in the final year of his contract, requested to be traded in August but was denied. He told reporters last week that he still wants to be traded, but ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Raiders would deal him "only if they felt they were getting strong value in return."

"[The Raiders] know how I feel," Meyers said. "It's no reason for me to keep going back crying to them, 'Can you get me out of here?' If you move me, you move me. But in the meantime, I got some real people that I care about next to me, so I'm trying to make sure I'm being my best self for them."

Meyers has recorded 29 catches for 329 yards with no touchdowns in six games this season. He sat out last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs with knee and toe injuries, but he's expected to return after the Week 8 bye.

The Raiders reportedly signed veteran wide receiver Tyler Lockett on Tuesday, reuniting him with head coach Pete Carroll and quarterback Geno Smith from their years with the Seattle Seahawks. Perhaps his arrival could make it easier for the Raiders to part ways with Meyers in a trade before the upcoming deadline.
