Tua Stuns NFL Fans with 4 TDs amid Illness in Dolphins' Win vs. Kirk Cousins, Falcons
The 2025 season has been rough for Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins. Sunday provided a therapeutic respite from those struggles.
The veteran quarterback threw for 205 yards and four touchdowns, leading his team to a 34-10 blowout win over the Atlanta Falcons (3-4) despite coming into the day with an illness.

NFL Not Investigating Mike Vrabel
Four different Dolphins (2-6) caught touchdown passes on the afternoon, highlighted by Jaylen Waddle (five receptions for 99 yards and a score) and superstar running back De'Von Achane (67 rushing yards, five catches for 24 yards and a touchdown).
But it was particularly sweet for Tagovailoa, who came into Sunday's game with 11 touchdown passes and 10 interceptions.
He's caught plenty of blame for the team's rough start, and deservedly so, but on Sunday he got some love (albeit with plenty of eye-related jokes thrown in):
It remains to be seen if the Dolphins can turn their season aroundâthey'll need to be lights out to somehow earn a playoff berthâbut they at least looked closer to the expectations that fans and pundits have for a Mike McDaniel offense.
Granted, it's much easier to win when you don't lose the turnover battle. The Dolphins were aided by a balanced offensive attack (197 yards through the air, 141 on the ground) and proficiency on third downs (6-of-13) to keep drives alive.
But it all starts and ends with Tua. If the Dolphins get this version of him for the rest of the season, they have a chance to turn this thing around. If he reverts to Turnover Tua again, the Dolphins have no chance.
