Fans and pundits were amazed by Maye's performance.

The Patriots started slow in Sunday's contest, as they trailed 7-3 at the end of the first quarter and only held a two-point advantage at halftime.

They quickly bounced back in the second half, dominating the Browns in all three phases of the game. New England scored 21 points in the third quarter, quickly putting Cleveland in a deficit that it ultimately wouldn't be able to overcome.

Maye completed passes to seven different receivers, with Mack Hollins hauling in a team-high seven receptions for 89 yards. Kayshon Boutte also caught three passes for 75 yards and a score.

For the Browns, Gabriel finished 21-of-35 for 156 yards and two touchdowns to go along with a pair of interceptions.

Cleveland's offense was only able to rack up 213 total yards, converting a mere two of 11 opportunities on third down.

The Patriots improved to 6-2 with the win, remaining atop the AFC East standings.
