Andre Agassi Headlines Pickleball Slam 2026 as Prize Money, Schedule, Players Revealed

Scott PolacekOct 28, 2025

Tennis royalty will be put to the test at Pickleball Slam 4 in April 2026.

The Pickleball Slam is returning and will feature Andre Agassi and James Blake facing off against Pickleball professionals Anna Leigh Waters and Eugenie Bouchard. Waters is ranked No. 1 in the world, while Bouchard—who is a former tennis player herself—is ranked No. 10 on the Professional Pickleball Association Tour for women's singles.

The pairs will face each other for a $1 million prize purse on April 15, 2026, at 7 p.m. ET at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fl. It will air live on ESPN, with tickets available beginning at 12 p.m. ET.

Agassi is best known for his tennis prowess, but he is also a three-time defending Pickleball Slam champion in part because he teamed up with Waters.

"I've enjoyed the challenge of competing in a new sport and am proud of winning three Pickleball Slams in a row," he said. "I'm excited to partner with James and ready to defend my title against Anna Leigh and Genie. I've had the luxury of teaming with Anna Leigh and have been blown away by her skills and commitment to excellence. Facing off against these two great athletes won't be easy, fortunately I've been playing racket sports longer than they've been alive!"

Waters is a pickleball legend, and Bouchard has climbed the rankings after her own successful tennis career.

"Many people still think the top women's players couldn't beat the top men's players in any racket sport. We are ready to prove them wrong," Waters said. "Genie and I have a lot of respect for Andre and James' legacy, but they're about to learn how hard it really is to master the sport we play for a living. If Andre wants to keep that Pickleball Slam title, he's going to have to earn it the hard way."

Agassi will be a headline draw with a resume that includes eight Grand Slam titles, an Olympic gold medal and 60 ATP Tour victories. He is one of the greatest tennis players in the history of the sport and was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2011.

As for Blake, he was a 10-time ATP title winner during his own career, which overlapped with Agassi's.

Bouchard never broke through at a Grand Slam, but she came particularly close in 2014 when she reached the final at Wimbledon and the semifinals at both Roland Garros and the Australian Open.

Now she will look to add a Pickleball Slam title to her list of accomplishments and will pair with arguably the sport's greatest player of all time in an effort to do so.
