Real American Freestyle Wrestling 2 Results, Highlights from WWE Legends' Promotion

Real American Freestyle wrestling returned for its second event on Saturday at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Pennsylvania.

The promotion, which was founded by the late WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, featured 10 bouts that included two title defenses in its latest action.

Highlights

U.S. Olympian Mason Parris set the tone early in the evening, clinching a dominant 11-0 win over Alexandr Romanov.

In the first title bout of the night, Nathan Tomasello defeated Matt Ramos to retain his bantamweight belt in a rematch from their previous clash at the inaugural Real American Freestyle event.

After a two hard-fought periods, Tomasello secured a takedown late in the third before getting exposure points to clinch a 5-3 win.

Two-time Olympic bronze medalist Kyle Dake was also able to successfully defend his cruiserweight title against Boris Makoev, recording a 7-1 victory as his only blemish was a step-out in the third period.

David Carr and Amr Reda faced off for the men's welterweight title, with Carr riding a fast start all the way to a lopsided 18-6 win.

Three-time Olympic medalist Helen Maroulis also battled against Samantha Stewart with the women's flyweight title on the line. Maroulis and Stewart both struggled to rack up points, but Maroulis ultimately dominated the mat and kept her opponent scoreless during a 6-0 win.

Real American Freestyle 3 will take place on Nov. 29.
