Six months after defeating South Carolina in the national title game, the Connecticut Huskies have revealed their championship rings from the 2024-25 season.

Paige Bueckers, who helped design the ring with teammates Azzi Fudd and Caroline Ducharme, explained in a video showing off the jewelry that it is "mostly silver" except for the gold championship trophy in the middle along with UConn in blue lettering.

In total, the ring features 12 trapezoid-shaped stones to represent the number of national titles won by the program, five triangle stones on the side to represent the Huskies' five consecutive Big East tournament titles and the teams and scores of the last four games from the NCAA tournament on the inside part of the ring.

The bezel can be removed to show off a piece of the game ball used in the national title game under etched stone.

On the same side of the ring with the five triangle stones is also the slogan "The Power of Friendship" that became something of a rallying cry for this group.

Bueckers even cited the "power of friendship" motto during her appearance on NBC's Today show on April 9.

"I saw on social media, they were saying UConn won based on the power of friendship. It's so accurate, just how much we love each other, how much we're connected, how much we've been through as individuals, as a team and how much it's bonded us and helped us become national champions, I wouldn't trade it for anything," Bueckers said (h/t NBC Connecticut).

The 2024-25 Huskies finished with a 37-3 record, tied for the seventh-most wins in a season in program history. They also went undefeated in conference play (18-0) for the second consecutive year.

Entering the NCAA tournament as the No. 5 overall seed, UConn put together an impressive six-game run with an average margin of victory of 32.8 points to win its first title in nine years.

The nine-year gap between championships was the second-longest for the program during Geno Auriemma's tenure. It took him 10 years from his hiring in 1985 to win his first national title during the 1994-95 season.

Bueckers capped off her stellar college career with a national title before becoming the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft and winning Rookie of the Year. Fudd was named Most Outstanding Player of the tournament for averaging 17.5 points on 44.4 percent three-point shooting in the six games.
