Titans' Cam Ward Quizzes Media, Asks Them to Recite Play Call Back to Him in Video

Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward flipped the script on the media during his Wednesday press conference.

While it is typically the media asking the rookie signal-caller questions in such a situation, Ward put the spotlight back on them when he asked if they could recite a play call back to him after he read it.

It's safe to say they could not, and Ward had fun with Paul Kuharsky in particular:

It was an amusing back-and-forth and something of a break from what has likely been a frustrating season for the Titans to this point. They are just 1-6 on the campaign following Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots with a daunting road matchup against the 6-1 Indianapolis Colts next on the slate.

Ward has shown flashes of the potential the Titans saw when they selected him with the No. 1 overall pick of the 2025 NFL draft, but he has also dealt with inconsistency while completing 57.6 percent of his passes for 1,356 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions.

He is also learning a new offense at the highest level of the sport while being asked to perform on the field. It is surely challenging for many rookies, but he seemed to have a grasp on the names of certain plays during his press conference.

Even if the media didn't.
