NFL Pro Bowl Moved to Super Bowl Week, Full Schedule Revealed for 2026 Games
The NFL Pro Bowl has undergone major changes in recent years, and another new wrinkle will be added this season.
The NFL announced Wednesday that the 2026 Pro Bowl Games have been moved to the week of Super Bowl LX, with coverage beginning on ESPN starting at 6:30 p.m. ET and the flag football game at 8:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
Moving the date of the Pro Bowl comes after the NFL announced earlier this month that it will slowly unveil details of a "reimagined" All-Star showcase for the league's best players.

"We've been working closely with ESPN, the player community and our partners on a reimagined Pro Bowl Games for this season," the league said in a statement on Oct. 9, per The Athletic's Jayna Bardahl. "We'll share more in the coming weeks, but our focus is a best-in-class all-star event that celebrates the league's top players, deepens fan engagement, and spotlights flag football — especially in light of confirming player participation in the LA28 Olympic Games."
The Pro Bowl originally was held the week after the Super Bowl before being moved to the week before the Big Game for the first time in 2010. Unfortunately, the game has struggled to garner much fan interest over the years, prompting the league to make major changes, most notably trading in a traditional tackle football game between the NFC and AFC for a flag football game and skills competition since 2022.
Players have embraced the revamped format over the past few seasons, so moving the event to Super Bowl week could help the Pro Bowl return to glory this year.
