Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
The series will open with two games in Toronto starting on Friday, followed by three games at Dodger Stadium and then two more back at Rogers Centre depending on how long it lasts.
MLB has not yet announced who will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before Game 1. The Dodgers went with former players prior to each of the first two games against the New York Yankees last year.
Lamar has been touring in support of his GNX album for most of this year, but he currently has a break until Dec. 3. Drake doesn't currently have tour dates scheduled as he continues to tease his upcoming album Iceman.
Even if we don't get Drake and/or Lamar throwing out a first pitch before one of the games, both stars will certainly be heavily invested in the outcome of the series that will determine MLB's champion.
The Blue Jays were the better team in the regular season by one game (94-68 to 93-69), but the Dodgers have steamrolled their competition in the playoffs with nine wins in 10 games to reach the World Series for the second consecutive year.
Game 1 between the Dodgers and Blue Jays will be played on Friday at 8 p.m. ET.
