Seahawks Troll Texans with Wild Mascot Graphic After Sam Darnold, JSN Win on MNF

The vibes for the Seattle Seahawks are incredibly high after Monday's 27-19 victory over the Houston Texans improved their record to 5-2.

Following the impressive performance, the Seahawks' social media team trolled the Texans with a graphic showing their mascot, Blitz, riding a bull while sipping tea.

Even having very novice bull-riding experience, it's hard to fathom Blitz being that calm and able to balance a tray on the bull's back in that particular scenario.

The main point, though, is the Seahawks continue to play like one of the best teams in the NFC. Their 27 points scored were the most allowed by Houston's defense since Week 17 last season.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has become an unstoppable force in his third season. He had eight catches for 123 yards and a touchdown. The 23-year-old has recorded at least 100 yards in five of seven games, including each of his last three.

Sam Darnold didn't have his best game, finishing 17-of-31 for 213 yards with one touchdown and one interception, but that's hardly a bad stat line against this Texans defense that hadn't allowed 200 passing yards since Week 3.

On the other side of the ball, Seattle's defense made C.J. Stroud feel like that bull in the graphic. The Texans quarterback completed just 46.9 percent of his attempts (23-of-49), averaged 4.7 yards per attempts and was sacked three times.

The Seahawks are heading into their bye week with a 5-2 record for the first time since 2023, but there is no margin for error in the NFC West right now. They are in a three-way tie with the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams for the top spot in the division.
