Updated Landing Spots for Breece Hall, Jakobi Meyers and More amid NFL Trade Rumors
The NFL's November 4 trade deadline is within sight, and fans can expect a few struggling teams to be sellers in the coming weeks.
Fresh off a big win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, the 3-4 Cincinnati Bengals probably won't be among them. According to The Athletic's Dianna Russini, the Bengals aren't shopping star pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson, and most "do not expect" him to be moved.
Teams like the Las Vegas Raiders, New Orleans Saints, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins, however, could be more interested in selling off veteran talent. With no shortage of tight playoff races across the NFL, there should be no shortage of buyers.
Here, you'll find a look at some of the latest trade buzz and fresh predictions for some of the biggest names who could be dealt.
Dolphins Edge Jaelan Phillips

The Bengals are unlikely to move Hendrickson, especially with a winnable game against the New York Jets upcoming. According to Russini, however, Hendrickson is "drawing attention around the league, with the 49ers showing the most interest."
San Francisco and other pass-rusher-needy teams might want to give the Miami Dolphins a call. Miami fell to 1-6 on Sunday and could be barreling toward some significant changes.
The Dolphins have also been getting "lots of calls" on Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips, per Russini.
Phillips might be the more readily available of the two, as he's an impending 2026 free agent. Chubb is signed through 2027.
A 2021 first-round pick out of Miami, Phillips showed a lot of promise early in his career (22 sacks in first 42 games), but injuries affected him over the last couple of seasons. Still, he's healthy now, and he'd be a sensible short-term addition for a 49ers team that has lost Nick Bosa for the season.

Jets RB Breece Hall

Like Phillips, New York Jets running back Breece Hall is an impending free agent. He's also drawn trade interest as the Jets continue with their winless season.
"The Jets are already getting calls on defensive end Jermaine Johnson and running back Breece Hall," Russini wrote. "They are making calls looking for a kick returner."
The Jets may not be inclined to move Johnson, a 2023 Pro Bowler who is under contract through 2026—though a reunion with Robert Saleh in San Francisco would certainly make sense for him. They should be open to moving Hall. New York isn't far into its latest rebuild, and it wouldn't make sense to invest heavily in a second-tier running back.
According to Russini, the Los Angeles Chargers are "exploring running back and offensive line depth."
Hall would make a lot of sense for the Chargers, who have already lost Najee Harris for the season and who also have Omarion Hampton on injured reserve. Hall's dual-threat ability would mesh well with Greg Roman's offense, and he'd give L.A.'s offense a significant boost.

Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers

Due in part to injuries, there should be plenty of teams interested in adding a wide receiver or two at the deadline. They probably shouldn't call the New Orleans Saints about star Chris Olave.
According to Russini, the Saints are trying to work out a long-term extension with Olave instead of looking to trade him.
The Las Vegas Raiders, though, could be open to moving Jakobi Meyers, even if they're not actively shopping him. According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, a few teams have "spotlighted" Meyers, but Las Vegas has made "no outgoing calls" regarding the receiver.
Meyers requested a trade just before the start of the season, but the Raiders, hoping to win immediately under Pete Carroll, weren't interested in moving him then. At 2-5, they might have to reconsider their stance.
Targeting Meyers would make sense for the Jacksonville Jaguars, who currently employ former Raiders wide receivers coach Edgar Bennett. According to Russini, the Jaguars "are expected to get involved in some trades."
Projected Landing Spot: Jacksonville Jaguars
Titans WR Calvin Ridley

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley missed Week 7 with a hamstring injury, but he'd still be a logical trade target for receiver-needy teams. He's floundered this season in Tennessee's struggling offense, but he was a 1,000-yard receiver just last season.
According to Russini, the Titans are "open for business on every player but QB Cam Ward and defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons."
The Pittsburgh Steelers would be a very sensible landing spot for Ridley, who spent part of the 2021 season under current Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. The Steelers are also looking for a wideout to pair with DK Metcalf.
"The Steelers are, once again, in the market for a receiver, sources say," Rapoport wrote on Saturday.
Adding Ridley would give Pittsburgh another big (6'1", 190 lbs), fast perimeter target who can help get the most out of Aaron Rodgers.
