Jalen Hurts' 3 TD Passes Excites NFL Fans as Eagles Beat Vikings to Snap Losing Streak

Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Minnesota Vikings 28–22 on Sunday in a gritty road environment.

With the win, the Eagles improved to 5–2 on the season, snapping a two-game losing streak to remain atop the NFC East division. Meanwhile, the Vikings fell to 3–3 on the year.

Hurts threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns, completing 19-of-23 passes. He connected with A.J. Brown for two scores, totaling 121 yards and DeVonta Smith for another touchdown, adding 183 yards. Saquon Barkley also contributed 44 rushing yards.

Vikings' Carson Wentz struggled with turnovers, finishing with 313 yards, two interceptions and no touchdowns.

Hurts' comeback performance, snapping the Eagles' losing streak, thrilled NFL fans as Philadelphia began to take shape as Super Bowl contenders.

Despite outgaining the Eagles in total yards and leading in first downs 21-13, two costly back-to-back interceptions — one returned for a touchdown — sealed the Vikings' fate.

After a back-and-forth battle in which the Eagles struggled to shake the Vikings, the game came down to the fourth quarter. Clinging to a three-point lead, Philadelphia extended its advantage with a touchdown just over six minutes remaining.

The Vikings responded with a long drive capped by a field goal, but a 45-yard strike to A.J. Brown on the following possession set up the opportunity for the Eagles to eat up the remainder of the clock and seal the win.

The Eagles will host the New York Giants on Sunday.
