Patrick Mahomes, Rashee Rice Hyped by NFL Fans as Chiefs Dominate Geno Smith, Raiders
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs shut out the Las Vegas Raiders 31-0 on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, marking Andy Reid's first regular-season shutout win.
The Chiefs improved to 4-3, strengthening their position in the AFC West and extending their win streak to two games with a 1-1 division record. Meanwhile, the Raiders dropped to 2-5 and remain at the bottom of the AFC West standings with an 0-2 mark in division play.
Mahomes threw for 286 yards and three touchdowns while completing 26-of-35 passes, connecting with Rashee Rice for two touchdowns and 42 yards and Hollywood Brown for another score. Isaiah Pacheco also added a rushing touchdown and 57 yards on the ground.

Raiders' Geno Smith struggled, finishing with 67 yards on 10-of-16 completions without a touchdown pass. Ashton Jeanty finished with 21 yards on six carries.
Fans praised the Chiefs' dominant performance after shutting out Smith and the Raiders.
The Raiders offense sputtered Sunday against Kansas City, managing only three first downs, 93 total yards of offense and one turnover while holding the ball for just 17:25.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs dominated from the start, piling up 434 total yards and 30 first downs while scoring on every drive through the first three quarters to cruise to a commanding 31-0 win.
The Raiders will head into a bye week to regroup before facing the Jacksonville Jaguars on Nov. 2, while the Chiefs will host Washington next Monday.
