Tyson Fury's eldest daughter said she has the full support of her parents ahead of her marriage to boxer Noah Price.

According to Desiree Anello of People, Venezuela Fury, 16, said in an interview with The Sun that her father is "very happy for us."

Venezuela added that Price, who is 18 years old, asked Fury for his blessing before proposing to her at her 16th birthday party. She said that Price was "having palpitations about doing it," but it was clear to her that her father "wouldn't interfere."

"I wasn't overly emotional because I was so surprised and I was very nervous, as I realized a lot of people were watching me," she said. "It was a very exciting moment, though, probably one of the best of my life. But I would have been content if he had asked me to marry him anywhere. I didn't care about the 'big proposal', but I am very happy."

Venezuela's mother, Paris, expressed support for her daughter's engagement in a separate interview.

"Venezuela is only young, she's only 16 and she is engaged, but we are really happy for her, and it's her choice in life," Paris, 35, told the Daily Mail. "It is a lovely moment, that's what I'm saying to her, enjoy this moment, enjoy where you are. I am really proud of her. I have said to Venezuela she has been shown different avenues in life and been offered different opportunities, and this is what she has chosen."
