Jake Paul Teases 'Big' Knockout Bonus for Gervonta Davis Boxing Fight

Paul KasabianOct 17, 2025

Jake Paul said during an appearance on the DOUBL3 COVERAGE podcast that there's a "big" knockout bonus for his upcoming exhibition match against WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis.

"So if someone knocks the other one out, they're gonna get a big, big bonus," Paul said, per TMZ Sports.

The payout will be issued even it's a TKO. Paul did not mention the exact amount, however, for fear that he could be providing too much information.

Paul and Davis are scheduled to fight on November 14 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. Netflix will stream the fight globally.

Davis is unquestionably the most accomplished active boxer that Paul will have ever faced. The 30-year-old is 30-0-1 lifetime with 28 knockouts.

Obviously, there's a massive weight difference here though. The lightweight division that Davis fights in has a 135-pound maximum, while Paul has fought anywhere from 183.75 pounds to 227.2 pounds during his career.

ESPN's Andreas Hale, who discussed the fight in great detail, said there is a 195-pound catchweight for the bout. The match will be 10 three-minute rounds, and the boxers will each have 12-ounce boxing gloves.

Paul has fared well as a professional, going 12-1 overall with seven knockouts. He most recently fought former WBC middleweight title holder Julio César Chávez Jr. on June 28, winning via unanimous decision.
