His limitless energy, love for the game and magnetic personality is infectious, and he's also quite loud, although even head coach Brian Daboll can't help but smile.
The Giants needed someone like him in the locker room and on the field, and they have it now as they hope to turn the page on a rough two-year stretch from 2023-2024 that saw the team go 9-25.
This year's squad began 0-3 before giving the keys to rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. The Giants have fared better since, going 2-1 with a pair of wins over a couple 4-2 teams in the Los Angeles Chargers (21-18) and Philadelphia Eagles (34-17).
In the Chargers game, Skattebo amassed 90 yards on 27 touches and issued a key block to spring Dart for a 15-yard touchdown run.
In the Eagles game, Skattebo found the end zone three times while accounting for 110 total yards.
Skattebo and the Giants will look to go 3-1 in the Dart era on Sunday when they visit the Denver Broncos.
