Caitlin Clark To Play LPGA Pro-Am Hosted by Annika Sorenstam, Full Field Revealed
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is making a return trip to Florida this fall.
The Annika announced Thursday that Clark is in the field for the 2025 Pro-Am, which tees off Nov. 12 at Pelican Golf Club.
"I had an amazing time at The Annika last November and participating in the Pro-Am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sörenstam, two of the best in the game," the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year said. "I'm honored to be an ambassador for a company in Gainbridge that is so committed to elevating women's sports. I can't wait to return to Tampa in November to play in the Pro-Am with the best women golfers in the world."
Clark's passion for golf began at a young age. She explained in a 2023 interview with the Big Ten Network she started playing around the third or fourth grade and still got out for the occasional round.
Not surprisingly, Clark's inclusion in the 2024 Annika Pro-Am provided a sizable commercial boost to the event. Ticket sales were reportedly 12 times the previous year's total.
Big galleries accompanied Clark throughout her day. She played the front nine with Korda and then Sörenstam for the back nine.
Korda came away as the winner in The Annika, which follows the Pro-Am. Finishing at 14 under, she beat Zhang Weiwei, Im Jin Hee and Charley Hull by three shots.
A three-time champion in the event, Korda will try to make it four wins in five years when she heads to Belleair, Florida. She's also looking to earn her first LPGA victory of 2025.
Hull, Thompson and Brooke Henderson are among the other headliners from the full field.
