Travis Hunter Breaks Down How Diet Changed After Leaving Colorado for NFL
Travis Hunter is a freak of nature athlete capable of playing more than 100 snaps per game, but that doesn't mean he can get away with not fueling his body properly.
In an interview with GQ's Matthew Roberson, the Jacksonville Jaguars rookie detailed some of the changes he has made to his diet since leaving Colorado for the NFL. He said he didn't change his diet too much, but he did start incorporating breakfast and hydration in the mornings.

"I put a lot of fluid in my body so I can be ready to work out," Hunter told Roberson. "I used to not do anything to my body in the morning, but now I do, I eat and stuff. I fuel my body in the morning."
He said he keeps things light with a few eggs, a protein shake and a muffin and prefers to avoid anything else heavier than that. Hunter added that seeing the veterans in Jacksonville take breakfast seriously changed the way he approached his diet.
"The guys in the morning, they actually take breakfast serious," he said. "Mostly everyone in there, they're going to breakfast and getting a good meal before they work out and before they do anything."
Hunter has logged 15 tackles and a pair of passes defended along with 20 receptions for 197 yards through six games. The No. 2 overall pick is hoping to make more of an impact moving forward, and it's clear he's taking his nutrition seriously to help him reach his goals.
