Emmanuel Pregnon NFL Draft 2026 Scouting Report for Jacksonville Jaguars IOL

Brandon ThornNov 9, 2025

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Oregon IOL Emmanuel Pregnon with the No. 88 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

Emmanuel Pregnon is a stout, people-moving guard with thick limbs, huge hands and a nasty demeanor, but his wide base can leave him late and stranded against movement across his face. Still, his size, experience, and play strength project him as an early starter — and if he tightens his footwork to improve sustain and recovery, he has a path to becoming an above-average starter.

Pregnon is a 6'4", 314-pound prospect, who entered the Wyoming program as an unranked recruit in the 2020 class before transferring to USC in 2023 and to Oregon for the '25 campaign.

Pregnon started 51 career games split between left (39) and right (12) over his six-year college career, including 15 in 2025 (14 at LG & one at RG). The former Duck earned first team All-American status during his lone season in Eugene.

Where He Wins

Wisconsin v Oregon

— Good arm length with large, heavy hands and good grip strength.

— Reliable, stout presence in the run game. Pregnon can cover up, lift and uproot targets on base, double and combination blocks.

— Efficient short setter in pass protection, with the length and strike-timing to establish first meaningful contact.

— Firm anchor and presence to pass off and pick up defensive line movement effectively, with pocket-clearing power when uncovered.

— Brings an enforcing mentality, with an affinity for contact, straining and finishing through the whistle.

Areas of Improvement

3 of 5
COLLEGE FOOTBALL: NOV 02 USC at Washington

— Adequate athletic ability and redirect skills create soft edges against movement across his face.

— Will lean and get heavy on his hands upon first contact, leaving him vulnerable to the push-pull and overextending against counter moves.
