Kimani Vidal and the Best Week 7 Fantasy Football Waiver-Wire Pickups

The fantasy football season is chugging right along, and while you may be sitting atop your league or stuck trying to stay afloat at the bottom of the standings, things can change quickly.

With injuries continue to pile up and big midseason changes—such as the Tennessee Titans' decision to fire head coach Brian Callahan—starting to take place, there's no guarantee the second half of the fantasy season will play out the same as the first.

For those doing well, it's not time to rest on your laurels. It's worth hitting the waiver wire to find better depth and insurance options to withstand the rigors of the long season.

For those who can't find a way to string together wins, don't give up and accept missing the postseason. Put some claims in to find potential new starters who could carry you over the next couple months.

With that in mind, read on for the top waiver-wire targets of Week 7.

Quarterback

New York Giants QB Jaxson Dart

Jaxson Dart, New York Giants (39 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $3-5

Dart is the real deal. He's finished QB16 or better in each of his three starts, including a career-best QB3 finish in Week 6 against the vaunted Eagles defense.

With Dart putting up nearly 24 points while leading the Giants to their second win in the last three games, he's clearly here to stay and will be locked into the QB1 radar for the rest of the season. Get him in your lineup if you don't have a consistent top-10 finisher.

Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars (49 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $1-2

After posting a QB5 finish during the Jags' upset of the Chiefs in Week 5, Lawrence came back down to earth a bit with a QB13 finish in Week 6.

While he's not going to punch in two touchdowns on the ground on a regular basis as he did against Kansas City, he has weekly top-10 upside due to a unique combination of offensive system, talented weapons and scrambling ability.

Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks (35 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $0-1

The Seahawks are rolling with Darnold leading the way. He's found his footing and has finished as the QB10 or better in three of the last four weeks. With a beatable Houston defense on tap before Seattle's bye, he is a fantastic streaming option for Week 7.

Running Back

Los Angeles Chargers RB Kimani Vidal

Kimani Vidal, Los Angeles Chargers (26 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $12-16

Any questions about who would lead L.A.'s offense with both Omarion Hampton and Najee Harris sidelined were answered in emphatic fashion on Sunday.

Vidal exploded for 124 rushing yards on 18 carries and added three receptions for another 14 yards and a score.

The 22.8-point showing was good for a RB9 finish and makes him the obvious choice for a big FAAB splurge or high waiver priority claim in Week 7.

While Hassan Haskins will still cut into his workload slightly and Hampton will be back later in the season, Vidal will be a must-start while remains the focal point of the Bolts' ground game.

Bam Knight, Arizona Cardinals (13 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $11-15

It seems the RB carousel is continuing to spin in Arizona. Bam Knight is now the top option in the desert, a mere week after Michael Carter dominated the team's backfield and recorded a top-10 finish.

Knight capitalized on his increase in playing time, leading the backfield in snaps while tallying 34 yards and a touchdown on his 11 carries and 20 yards on his lone reception.

Those numbers aren't great, but they warrant a flex play during the lean midseason bye weeks where depth is at a premium.

Kendre Miller, New Orleans Saints (32 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $2-4

Miller has steadfastly remained in a bit role as the No. 2 back in New Orleans' system. At least for now, it's not a job that makes him reliable for fantasy purposes in all but the deepest formats.

Still, he is worth picking up for his rising standalone and heavy handcuff value. He's an especially intriguing dice roll due to Alvin Kamara's status as an obvious trade deadline target.

If the veteran is moved, it would lead to Miller instantly emerging on the RB1 radar.

Wide Receiver

San Francisco 49ers WR Kendrick Bourne

Kendrick Bourne, San Francisco 49ers (33 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $5-8

Bourne has been the go-to option for a banged-up 49ers offense missing several key playmakers. His chemistry with Mac Jones has been readily apparent and has resulted in a pair of top-11 fantasy finishes in back-to-back weeks.

As strong as Bourne has played, it's only a matter of time before he's relegated to a few looks per week while retaking his place behind Jauan Jennings, Ricky Pearsall and George Kittle in the pecking order. The latter two could be back as early as Week 7, so don't invest too much into adding Bourne to your lineup.

Elic Ayomanor, Tennessee Titans (22 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $3-5

Ayomanor has been one of the few bright spots for this downtrodden Titans squad. While decent volume has yet to translate to fantasy production—the rookie is still seeking his first top-20 finish—those looks are about to be cranked up further with Calvin Ridley dealing with a hamstring issue.

While there's a lot of change happening in the Music City right now, interim head coach Mike McCoy should be trying to get Ayomanor more involved as the Titans try to fix this Cam Ward-led passing attack.

Kayshon Boutte, New England Patriots (7 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $1-3

Boutte just turned in the finest fantasy performance of his three-year NFL career. The 23-year-old notched a hefty 26.3 points and a WR4 finish after reeling in all five of his targets for 93 yards and two scores.

While it wouldn't be prudent to expect Boutte to put up those kind of numbers on a weekly basis, the arrow is pointing up for New England's passing game. Drake Maye clearly trusts him to make big plays, and that scoring-based upside puts him on the flex radar for Week 7.

Jalen Coker, Carolina Panthers (11 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $0-1

Coker looks set to make his season debut in Week 7. Shrewd fantasy managers should look to get ahead of a potential waiver-wire rush by picking up the second-year wideout before his inevitable breakout performance in the coming weeks.

As an undrafted rookie last year, he put up five top-50 fantasy finishes in his first 11 games. He should be even better with this improving Panthers offense in 2025.

Tight End

Cleveland Browns TE Harold Fannin Jr.

Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns (25 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $2-4

Fannin returned to fantasy relevance in a major way on Sunday, hauling in seven of 10 targets for 81 yards. While he didn't find the end zone, the rookie tight end matched or reached new career highs in every major receiving category in a 23-9 defeat to the Steelers.

He now has two pairs of top-15 finishes sandwiched between placements outside the top-30. While that may be inconsistent, expect him to continue skewing more towards the TE1 radar while working as Dillon Gabriel's safety net.

Oronde Gadsden II, Los Angeles Chargers (1 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $1-3

Gadsden just had the breakout performance Chargers fans had been hoping for. The first-year talent was the clear-cut TE1 for the Bolts in their win over the Dolphins, catching seven of his eight targets for 68 yards in the contest.

While it may still be risky to start him—he finished outside the top-35 twice following his TE14 debut in Week 3—in most formats, he's worth rostering as a backup with immense upside at a position largely bereft of talent.

AJ Barner, Seattle Seahawks (13 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $0-1

Barner is quietly having a rather impressive sophomore season. Three of his last five games have resulted in top-10 finishes, although it's worth noting those were the only three games he has scored in this season.

He is a good bet to find more paydirt against a soft Texans defense in Week 7, so consider him a decent one-week rental ahead of Seattle's Week 8 bye.

New England Patriots defenders

New England Patriots (48 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $1-2

The Patriots defense just proved it can slay giants such as Josh Allen and now gets to feast against a rookie quarterback stuck in arguably the league's most dysfunctional offense with Cam Ward and the Titans on tap.

New England should be your priority D/ST pickup this week not only for that juicy matchup against Tennessee but also because this unit can be locked in as a starter for Week 8 as well.

The Pats get to take on a slumping Dillon Gabriel-led Browns then, making this one of the top matchup-based defensive choices for a full fortnight.

Carolina Panthers (1 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $0-1

If you are streaming defenses in Week 7, don't hesitate to capitalize on Carolina's plus-matchup against the lowly Jets.

Gang Green was a mess in London last week, giving up nine sacks while mustering just 82 total yards of offense. New York won't receive any quarter, as the team has no post-Europe trip bye to recover and must head right back to the U.S. to pick up the pieces—an unlikely outcome for this flailing 0-6 squad.

Chicago Bears (5 Percent Rostered)

Suggested FAAB Bid: $0-1

The Bears have been a surprisingly consistent defense in 2025. They've put up nine or more points in four of their first five games, including an impressive three-sack, two-fumble recovery, one-interception game against the Commanders in Week 6.

Chicago will have a real chance to top the season-high 11 points it has put up twice (against both the Vikings and Cowboys) so far when the downtrodden Saints come to Soldier Field this week.
