Cam Skattebo's Dad Asked Giants Execs if Son Has 'Been Late Again' amid NBA 2K Buzz
The father of New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo wanted to hear for himself whether his son is arriving on time for team gatherings after making a poor first impression with the organization.
Skattebo ran for 98 yards and three touchdowns in New York's 34-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Rather than focus on his son's performance, The MMQB's Albert Breer reported Skattebo's dad asked Giants executives, "Has he been late again?"
The fourth-round pick revealed on the St. Brown Podcast in May he was late to the bus scheduled to take him to New York's team facility for an official pre-draft visit. He "thought I was cooked," only to have a good enough chat with team officials that won them over in the end.
More recently, Skattebo had some fun with rumors he was up into early morning hours Thursday playing NBA 2K26.
If the rookie ball-carrier had been burning the midnight oil, it didn't affect his performance. On the whole, he has outperformed his draft position through the first six weeks. His 338 rushing yards and five scores are the most on the Giants.
Punctuality presumably isn't an issue, either.
