Baker Mayfield Among NFL MVP Betting Favorites as Bucs Move to 5-1, Full Odds Revealed

Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are rolling, and now the star quarterback's MVP odds are looking even better.

After the Bucs improved to 5-1 with a win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Mayfield's odds improved to +400, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. He's now tied with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes for the second-best odds, just behind Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

After Sunday's win, Mayfield is up to 1,539 passing yards and 12 touchdowns while throwing just one interception. He had 256 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns against the 49ers.

Mayfield struggled early in his career with the Cleveland Browns before brief stints with the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Rams, but he's now revitalized his career in Tampa Bay. He had the best season of his career in 2024 and is now in the MVP conversation, which most fans likely wouldn't have imagined happening a few years ago.

What's more, he has the Bucs looking like a Super Bowl contender after another big win on Sunday.
