Fantasy Football Week 7 Rankings, Box Score Stat Projections, Top Waiver-Wire Adds

Living in the moment sounds nice and all, but the best fantasy football managers are forever looking forward.

That's why our minds have already shifted to Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season, even though Week 6 still has two more tilts left on the schedule.

Roster management starts early. Even if you can't make moves yet, you can—and should—start studying the schedule and scanning through the waiver wire to figure out which players should be locked into your lineup and which will need replacing by a plug-and-play streamer.

We're looking at both sides of the equation by ranking the elites and also spotlighting (and projecting) one waiver-wire streamer at each of the three marquee positions.

Waiver-wire target: Sam Darnold, SEA (vs. HOU)

Darnold's Seattle debut was quiet, but he has put up loud stat lines virtually every week since. He has thrown multiple touchdown passes in four of his last five outings, and in the one game where he didn't, he still threw for 242 yards and a touchdown while adding 24 unexpected-but-welcome yards on the ground.

His matchup is tricky this week, and Seattle's bye looms in Week 8, so he may not be the best choice if you're in dire need of immediate relief. That said, he's good enough to perform even in a tough spot, and his season-long outlook will make him worth the wait for those with less-than-stellar quarterback situations.

Projected stats: 20-of-29 for 229 yards and two touchdowns

Waiver-wire target: Kimani Vidal, LAC (vs. IND)

With Najee Harris out for the season, and Omarion Hampton on injured reserve, Vidal took full advantage of his next-man-up opportunity in this fantasy-friendly backfield. The sophomore back handled 18 carries and four targets on Sunday (catching three) and turned those opportunities into 138 scrimmage yards and a score.

While you can't pencil in this kind of production every week, Vidal will be a viable fantasy starter for as long as he's featured in this ground game.

Projected stats: 16 carries for 74 yards, three receptions for 22 yards, one touchdown

Waiver-wire target: Wan'Dale Robinson, NYG (at DEN)

Robinson's weekly game log shows both highs and lows, but he is seeing enough volume in this passing attack to become a more consistent production source. He's had seven-plus targets in four of six contests so far, and he just carved up the Philadelphia Eagles with six receptions on seven targets for 84 yards and a touchdown.

If Robinson can entrench himself as the favorite target of rookie first-rounder Jaxson Dart, there should be many more highs than lows moving forward.

Projected stats: Five receptions for 63 yards, one touchdown
