Drake Maye Gets Love from NFL Fans as Patriots Beat Saints for 3rd Straight Win
Drake Maye and the New England Patriots defeated the New Orleans Saints 25–19 on Sunday on the road.
With the road win, the Patriots improved to 4–2 on the season and extended their winning streak to three games as they look to climb the AFC East standings. Meanwhile, the Saints fell to 1–5 on the year as their struggles continued.
Maye threw for 261 yards and three touchdowns while completing 18-of-26 passes, connecting with Kayshon Boutte for two touchdowns, who added 93 yards, and DeMario Douglas for another score.

Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler struggled to find the endzone, finishing with 227 yards and no touchdown passes on 20-of-26 passing, while Taysom Hill ran in New Orleans' lone touchdown.
Maye received plenty of praise for his "Tom Brady-esque" performance on Sunday, leading the Patriots to a win over the Saints.
Maye and the Patriots scored on both of their first-quarter possessions, with Maye connecting with Douglas for a 53-yard touchdown and later finding Boutte to take a 14–6 lead.
In the second quarter, Maye added another touchdown pass to Boutte, and New England converted a two-point attempt before halftime to take a 22–16 lead.
Andy Bourregales nailed a field goal in the third, increasing the Patriots lead to 25-16 into the final quarter.
The Patriots defense forced a fumble, and although the Saints added one more field goal before the final whistle, New England held on to secure the win.
The Patriots will travel to face the Tennessee Titans next Sunday.
