DeMarvion Overshown Reportedly Could Make Injury Return for Cowboys in November
Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown is hoping to return in November from the knee injury that cut his debut 2024 season short, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported Friday.
Overshown is "nearing a return to practice," and the Cowboys hope to open his return window later this month, per Schultz.
Once he is cleared to practice, Overshown would have 21 days to either join the active roster or be placed on season-ending injured reserve.

The news comes 10 months after Overshown suffered a torn ACL, MCL and PCL in his right knee last season during a Week 14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
ESPN's Todd Archer reported Friday that Overshown "had another positive checkup" on his surgically-repaired knee this week.
Archer's and Schultz's reports come the same day Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer said Overshown was "getting close" to a return (h/t The Athletic's Jon Machota).
"You don't have to worry about D-Mo, he's always gonna be engaged. … D-Mo is a guy that's going to beat most markers," Schottenheimer said, per Machota.
Schottenheimer added, "I do think the timing is getting closer."
Overshown had recorded 90 total tackles and 5.0 sacks before suffering his season-ending right knee injury last season.
Originally a third-round pick in the 2023 draft, Overshown ended up missing his rookie NFL season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee during the 2023 preseason.
He returned to the field about 13 months later to make his debut in the Cowboys' 2024 season opener, during which he recorded a sack and 11 tackles.
The Cowboys will hope to see similar dominance from Overshown when he hopefully makes his second career comeback from major knee surgery late this season.
