If you were the world's most famous footballer, where would you go on holiday?
The south of France, maybe?
Swim with the dolphins by a tropical island?
Disney World?
Well, Leo Messi decided to reject all those options and instead travelled to Gabon during his post-Copa America break.
To be fair, there is a reason why Messi is visiting the West African country.
As per Sport:
"He is in Gabon at the request of his former teammate Samuel Eto'o, who does a lot of work in the country and owns several football schools.
Messi travelled with another former Barcelona teammate, Deco. Together, they both laid the first stones of the Port-Genil stadium, where it's hoped African Cup of Nations games will be played in 2017.
"
Barcelona announced Friday that Messi would not be joining the squad for their International Champions Cup tour of the United States, according to the Washington Post's David Larimer.
